Video Games are great! They give you whole worlds where you can live out a completely different life as a soldier, a cowboy, pirate, assassin, or even a uh, hedgehog. But, so many video games these days have such immersive worlds you’ll see all kinds of unique foods created for those world, twists on well-known dishes, or even actual recipes within the game! This led me to start up this new segment – video game grub where I explore foods found in video game!
We’re kicking off with an Apple Pie recipe found within puzzle-explorer-adventure “What Remains of Edith Finch” – right at the beginning of the game you discover a recipe book in the kitchen with a full recipe within it! But is it a recipe that can actually make a great apple pie? Or is it Game Over? I delve in and give it a go!
